When ever I feel like a decent lunch burger, I head to Bowl1n Diner. Been frequenting here a few times a month for some time now.
There's also "fast lane" buffet available if you don't feel like having a burger. This buffet's style is something between American diner food and Finnish home cooking, sometimes with some asian twist. All the burgers from the lunch list are usually very good. I prefer the ones with actual burger, but there's also some veggie and pulled pork versions available.
Today: Blue cheese burger, very good indeed. Burger has the taste of real grilling and the buns have a nice home made feel. Excellent sauces. French fries are always somewhat stale to my taste here, a bit dry even, but that's usually the only weak point of the actual foods. If you want to add the salad buffet to your burger meal, that's 2,00€ extra. 90% of the times this is absolutely worth it, for compared to your usual bland veggie salad buffets of he region, there's most likely various different protein sources available plus quite nice variation of different cold food items, including the usual basics of course. Today the P sources were boiled egg halves, cottage cheese, feta in herb oil and smoked salmon (!). Quite nice for regular thursday meal, eh? Excellent for sporty-man-eat-a-lot gents there too. Meals include drinks from the lunch line tap, sparkling water with different tastes, some juice and water. For dessert there's your usual coffee and tea, but nowadays they've included pancakes... so today after salads and a burger meal AND a pancake with strawberry jam... needless to say, but I was totally full even if I didn't finish the fries and went there hungry like a wolf.
PS some years ago we were fortunate to win a weekly brunch for a full year here with my ex, and I have to give compliments to excellent america / asia fusion dishes that were available during that period. no hungry saturdays that year!
Nice laid-back place for a burger and a beer/soda. Eventhough it's a bowling diner, you can't here the sounds of bowlers behing the corner, nicely done!
The burgers were really good, it was also possible to order gluten free ones. Here you can combine bowling and eating at the same place. We had to wait our food quite long time (at least 45mins), but we were aware of that. If I wanted to eat burgers, I would definitely go there again.
Where with two. Both burgers where good. One veggie and one chilli beef. It took a while before the food was served. For a burger and fries it could be much faster. Desert, one ice cream and one cheesecake' where okay. Cheese cake was dry and little tasteless. All in all. Average.
