Hotel Kungsträdgården or King´s Garden is a lovely hotel overlooking what else but the Kungsträdgården Square. Rooms are all different because this is a converted mansion. They are quiet and some overlook the garden. The interior is a beautiful atrium with a dining area and bar, and open lounges on 2 levels. Breakfasts are the usual plentiful Scandinavian start to the day. Location is a 12' walk to the train station and 7' walk to Gamla Stan; location cannot be beat. Highly recommended.

I went on business and stayed for 3nights in a superior room. The room was very comfortable and well appointed wth robes and the usual excellent facilities. We ate breakfast daily, a very sumptuous and generous buffet served in the atmospheric dining room on the centre of the hotel.
Highly recommend as the whole experience was excellent. Close to the harbour and beautiful parks.

Ideal location, exceptional service, well appointed furnishings, superb dining...and moderately priced. The Hotel Kungsträdgården combines service excellence and luxury with efficiency and economy for an unparalleled guest experience. My wife and I had one of the smaller rooms...which, in fact, was plenty big after each day’s exploration of fabulous Stockholm. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Gamla Stan and minutes away from Drottninggatan shopping. The complimentary morning breakfast at Brasserie Makalös is exceptional. Only a 10-15 easy walk from Centralstation. This property has it all.

I absolutely loved this hotel! so centrally located and I was travelling on my own and it was easy to get around. The dining area is actually the courtyard which is beautiful! Breakfast was a good range. Helpful staff. I will be back!

The location of this hotel was one of the main reasons we chose it since we like to walk everywhere. We arrived via the airport express train and walked through the city with our bags to the hotel in under 15 minutes. Its a very easy/ quick walk to Gamla stan and surrounding restaurants and a beautiful walk over to the Vasa Museum. We were told at check in reservations for dinner were highly suggested and Adam the concierge sent us to fabulous restaurants for dinner both nights (thanks Adam). The breakfast buffet was nice, but we didn't eat in the french restaurant at the hotel. The bartender was very friendly and fun to chat with over drinks before going to dinner. The room was small and we were happy to be on the top floor with a nice little view but the ceiling was slanted and my tall husband had to be careful not to hit his head when walking around the room.
