Il Contadino was just what the travel doctor ordered for our 1st night in Stockholm! After a delayed flight and heavy rain we weren't wanting to wander far from our apartment in Sodermalm for dinner, and were extremely lucky to find this little gem a 2 minute walk from our apartment.
The restaurant seems to attract a more mature, definitely local crowd with its low-lighting, dark decor and candelabras. The staff were friendly and offered to translate the menu for us. As most of it was in a mixture of Italian and Swedish we were able to work it out, but appreciated the offer! I ordered the Delizia Emiliana which was AMAZING. My friend had the linguine marinara which was also incredibly good.
Definitely highly recommend this restaurant for people staying in the Sodermalm area.
