We thought this was a Viking ship, but it is not. It was a navy ship with cannons. It was huge, really interesting. Did the guided tour which was short and informative. The museum wasn't just the ship, it included info about diving and recovery, and people on the ship.

Amazing museum with so much to see. We honestly didn't think we would be there for as long as we were but we were so captivated by everything there that the time flew by. Highly recommend taking the half hr and doing the guided tour as well.
While there we also ended up having lunch on the Vasa café and it was one of the best meals we have had. Food was fantastic - I had the tuna and my husband had the meatballs. Adding on a side salad was only 15 KER and a coffee 10 KER which is a great deal. Prices at the cafe were fantastic for the quality and amount of food we had; we paid 350 KER in total for our meal.

This museum seems to keep going on and on as you go upstairs. All of the information is very interesting! The guided tour is engaging and a great basis for exploring the rest of the museum!
