Spent one night at the Victory Hotel before a cruise. Arrived around 9:00am and our room had been upgraded and it was ready! It's in a great location in Gamla Stan and is very distinctive in it's nautical décor. Buffet breakfast was fine. It was actually an easy walk from the train station. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend it. Would certainly stay there again.

Rooms are small but very adequate and well equipped. the hotel is in a great location in walking distance to many of the sights. Great breakfast and comfortable room. Great collection of maritime items throughout the hotel and several small restaurants to choose from as well as an indoor garden. Would definitely stay there again, with very friendly and helpful staff.

Located close to the main tourist area in Gamla Stan, this quaint hotel is the ideal place to stay when visiting Stockholm. We paid extra for a room with an attached sitting room so there were no space issues. Bed was a comfortable King bed and there was adequate clothes storage space. Large bathroom with a decent sized shower stall. Being close to lots of eateries was a definite plus - recommend the Hairy Pig restaurant, but you need to book. Staff were very helpful. Excellent breakfast included in the tariff in a large breakfast area downstairs. Tea and coffee available on each floor in the hallway. Would definitely stay here again.

Despite the title, and I'll get to that, the quirky nautical themed Victory Hotel is perfectly located and the staff very helpful. For a small hotel, 45 rooms, there are five restaurants and four bars in the facility. Some are as small as only 12 seats tho so reservations are required even if you are a hotel guest.

So three comments regarding the title:
1. You cannot charge anything to your room. All bars and restaurants in the hotel are separate business points so take your card.
2. THERE IS NO GYM.... regardless of the TripAdvisor description.
3. The single rooms are all you need if traveling alone. They are efficient.

We were in Stockholm for only one night prior to leaving on a cruise, and this was the perfect stop for us! Right in the heart of the Old Town, the location was fantastic. Jenny and Cole at the front desk welcomed us as if we were long-awaited family - and even offered to try to fix my suitcase for me, the handle of which had broken in transit. The recommendations they provided for restaurant (dinner) options as well as scenic routes to walk that evening were terrific. But mostly we were charmed by the unique nature of this boutique hotel. It is a collector's dream - from the antiques in the rooms to the books and ship/sailing paraphernalia in the halls. Our room was small, but it was described as such, so we weren't neither surprised nor disappointed. For one or two nights it was fine. If you're planning a longer stay, I would not recommend the small rooms as there just wasn't room to place suitcases unless you totally unpack. If you want what you're accustomed to, then stay at the Hilton. If you want a truly unique and memorable experience, then this is your place. To top it off, the included breakfast was better than anything we've ever ordered off a menu. Thank you to all at the Victory Hotel for providing such a warm welcome to Stockholm!
