This is a typically Swedish hotel; rather plain but clean and extremely functional. The breakfast (included in our deal) had quite a good choice of cold foods and was self service so as abundant as you wanted. Good value for the price.

I had a hard time finding this hotel on TripAdvisor, as you have no town listing for Kungens Kurva, and this hotel does not feature in Skarholmen (the commune where it is situated). Eventually tracked it down under Stockholm (it is well outside).

I booked here as convenient for visiting Alby and offering very low price. First impressions were not great. The hotel looks like a prefabricated building plonked down on waste ground in an area that is definitely still a "work in progress". Judging by the cars parked outside, I took it to be a hostel for Estonian workers on the local building sites.

Things went from bad to worse when I got to my room, to find the door half off its hinges and unable to be locked. With visions of drunken fighting in the corridors late at night, I did go down and ask for an alternative room, which was reluctantly given. The room was vey basic, although apparently clean, but I was not looking forward to my return at midnight.

That return was not easy, as at night I could not find the hotel! Building sites are not the easiest of locations, and I was unaware that the side turning where it was located bore the same name as the main road. I found myself asking total strangers at the bus stop, beside which was a lit up advertisement for the hotel, but lacking in a helpful arrow pointing to the side turning.

However, once I did find it, things started to look up. The night porter was a good deal friendlier than the afternoon man, the place was calm and quiet, the bed was comfortable and I slept well.

The biggest surprise was the breakfast, a popular buffet with everything one could want, and all included in the low price.

All in all, it turned out to be very good value for around 50€ and I would now stay there again.

Don't expect a luxurious hotel as this meant to be a budget hotel. It's on the outskirts of the city but that's why it's inexpensive. Stockholm otherwise is a very expensive city. Breakfast was decent. Hotel stall was polite. However, the hotel gave the feeling of a hostel. You have a common kitchen where you could cook for yourself. Felt like home

This budget hotel is really good, you get what you pay for, and even some extras! Friendly staff and clean rooms. Free breakfast is nice, but basic, like the room and bathroom. If you need a cheap stay close to the highway, this is the place!

Our stay in this hotel was an absolute delight! The single room w/shared bath that we had booked online was unavailable, so they upgraded us to a quadruple room (with a real double bed!) and private toilet/shower!! It was wonderful. All linen is provided and the rooms are cleaned daily.
All the staff are helpful and friendly, especially Robert in reception! The free breakfast was more than adequate, including breads, meats, cheese, eggs, cold cereals and hot porridge, and a selection of confitures and sauces.
Though outside the city, transport by metro and bus is easy, and the hotel is near two shopping centers (as well as IKEA) with reasonably priced restaurants - a major plus with food being so expensive in the city. Though the outdoor surrounds aren't beautiful, the hotel itself is quite pretty inside with a glassed corridor and a lovely garden in the center.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
