The hotel is walking distance from the railway station along cobble-stoned streets.
Self-check-in was a bit of a surprise but the world changes. It didn’t work so we had to use the old fashioned people talking version. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
There is a small bar at reception which offers well-priced drinks. Attached to the hotel (around the corner through the small dining area) is a lovely breakfast/café area.
The rooms are small but clean. The bathrooms are also small with a curtain protecting the loo when showering. We travelled with three other couples and each had a slightly different room experience. Some rooms are larger than others
The ‘wardrobe’ is just a rod with a few coat hangers - the consistent lack of coat hangers, regardless on the size of the room, was a source of many jokes among the group during our stay
The beds are generously sized and very comfortable. The pillows not so much.
The location of the hotel includes some nightlife activity that might annoy some travellers. We found it ok.More
