We had two night here as a family and found the location to be ideal. Nyhavn is a great place to stay with lovely food and drink nearby. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The rooms are OK, good for a couple of nights and the prices were OK for the Danish capital. Not sure if breakfast is always served this way - or just during Covid-19 times, but being served with each part of the buffet was very odd and felt like you were being policed by what you could have. Staff were lovely and friendly and I would recommend to others.

The hotel is ideally situated across from plenty of restaurants. Travel from Copenhagen airport is 15-20 minutes and isn't cheap. Entertainment is all a short walk away with bars, museums, river tours and the Little Mermaid statue just some of the things nearby. The hotel is a small establishment with friendly staff but our room was a letdown it was very small and poky. The bathroom was clean but also small and the towels were more like flannels. This hotel is all about location but the bright, airy feel to the reception area was not carried through to our room which had tired, bland decor. Would definitely return to Copenhagen but not sure I would return to this hotel.

The hotel is in an enviable situation on a corner beside the waters of Nyhavn, with the stops for the Hop on Hop off bus and the Harbour boat tour being literally right across the road. Incidentally, you can buy a joint ticket for both of these tours. Many of Copenhagen's attractions are within easy walking distance.

The reception is on the first floor and has a comfortable lounge with pemanent free filter coffee available. A nice touch. We were made welcome and comfortable by all of the staff. A substantial buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant every day.

The room we had was on the corner of the building with great views, It was large and comfortable, large enough to have a sofa and easy chair as well as the double bed without feeling crowded.

As others have said, the staff in this hotel are some of the best and most helpful staff you will find anywhere. We arrived when there were no Coronavirus restrictions but it then kicked off and the assistance we had in being updated with all of the fast moving events and local advice following this was extremely welcome and very useful. They also helped us with our attempts to book a flight after Easyjet abandoned us even before Denmark closed its borders.

As we were leaving we were told that the hotel was staying open to accomodate the medics coming in to Copenhagen to help with the pandemic and that they could stay absoluetly free.

We do intend to return to Denmark, to Copenhagen and to the Hotel Bethel at some, as yet unknown, time in the future.

Room tip: The corner rooms have terrific views of the picturesque surroundings.

Stayed three nights in February. Cannot fault the hotel, great location, very professional staff, (special mention for receptionist Miriam). Paid a little extra for the view (well worth the money). Location great, nice breakfast... If you're thinking about it...go for it

Just spent a wonderful few days at the Bethel. Great location, walking distance to everything. Staff were incredibly helpful, providing guidance about special places to visit (shout out to Mariam) during our stay. If you want fancy, this isn’t for you. However if you want a hotel that addresses your travel needs at a reasonable rate, the Bethel is perfect,
