The Savoy is in a great location from which to explore the enchanting city of Copenhagen. It is a few minutes walk from the station which has regular links to the airport. Also close to Tivoli which is well worth a visit - Friday and Saturday nights there is live music followed by a firework display. Our room, a twin on the first floor was a little cramped with not much of a view but then we really only wanted somewhere to sleep and shower. Perhaps ask for a room on a higher floor and maybe at the front. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay - the dining room is spacious and the round seats by the window are lovely and light. There is so much choice - selection of breads and pastries, cold meats, eggs, cheeses, pate, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, tea and coffee and juices. The platters are constantly being replenished. The reception staff are so helpful and of course, everyone speaks English. There are 10 bikes belonging to the Hotel which can be hired directly from reception - a must when in Copenhagen. Overall, the Savoy is gem of a hotel and is reasonably priced for a city break.
