We were after a centrally located hotel in Copenhagen after a Baltic cruise. The Savoy is well postioned , very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms , although a little on the small size . Good value for money.Generous breakfast and courtesy coffee , fruit and Danish pasteries always available in reception .Would stay again.Thank you

We had just a brief visit to Copenhagen for the first time and identified that the Savoy Hotel had a good reputation. It was very convenient to central town and to transport. Staff were excellent and helpful. Breakfast was delightful. Building was in good condition. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Easy to find from the train station from the train from the airport.
Nothing pretty to look at inside or out.
Breakfast included but be early or you might not get the best stuff.
Tasty starch options.
Cold protein options.
Yogurt taste different from elsewhere and was my favourite breakfast item with honey.
You should eat a danish in Denmark.

Room tip: Easy to locate stress free

Our friend who lives in Copenhagen recommended this small hotel for our 4 days stay in town. Great price, very clean, basic amenities, average breakfast, small rooms all in a perfect location if you like to walk around. It was only10 minutes from the central train station (we took the train from the airport and then walked to hotel using our phone GPS) Most historic places, museums, old town, boat ride, shopping,.... were from 10 to max 40 minutes walk. For further distances, we used Uber.
We got one of the biggest rooms for 2 that was on the main floor. Quiet and nice view of the courtyard with pink roses in the garden. We had all the standard items that come with hotel rooms, however, some odd items were not provided such a Kleenex!!! Our bathroom was icey cold and most importantly no comfortable place to sit. There were only 2 very hard uncomfortable chairs to sit straight and our beds. A comfy sofa or a loveseat was truly missed after a full day of walking around:) The front desk and breakfast staff are all very nice and try to help as much as they can.

Room tip: Ask for rooms that don't have sloped/low ceiling

This is a medium sized hotel located near the centre of Copenhagen. It takes 10 minutes to reach the main train station and Tivoli gardens by foot; but be mindful of the resturants nearby to the hotel as they can be fairly expensive. The staff are very courteous, helpful and will greet you with a smile.

The rooms are locked with a pin code. I stayed in a medium sized room which was decent, it had the basic amenities such as a television and hair dryer. The Wi-Fi was also pretty good. However, the bathroom is quite small and the toilet did not seem to have enough pressure to flush properly. The shower area is tiny, and the shower curtain will ‘float’ when it is in use which can be annoying.

The breakfast was included in the price and can be found in the restaurant downstairs. Unlike the other reviewers I did not find it amazing but fairly average; there was a small selection of typical continental food (cold meats, bread, and cereal).

This hotel does not strive to be 4 stars, but sticks to being 3 stars which it does very well (do not expect free toiletries like those chain hotels). I would definitely recommend this place and would return for my next visit to the city.
