When you book 5 star hotel you expect some service.
1.Everything started from our arrival when nobody met us near hotel after cab with our luggage. As we saw later that there is only One bell boy and when he helps somebody with his luggage on the floor to the room than nobody is on the first floor!! But that was our smallest problem.
2.The price for our 2 nights stay for our Junior suite was really high. We have a membership card of the hotel and with this card you may expect for early check in upon availability. But sure, they had no ready room and told us that it will be ready in 2 hours. We return to the hotel after two hours and than on the front desk they again told us that we need to wait at least one hour. But the people who arrived much earlier than us already checked in! That was really silly situation and even when we asked to explain what in going on in this hotel with its terrible service and asked to talk with manager - he was totally impolite and rude. We even didn't expect that in such hotel top personal will be so unexperienced and apathetic. And for sure this loyalty card of the hotel wasn't needed to anybody and meant nothing.
3. And finally during our check our a front desk manager took double write off from my card and amount was turned to my card only after several emails to the hotel and in 30 days after our check out.
So this total disaster that happened with us during our stay in Marriott hotel in Copenhagen made us such decision - never even stay in Marriott hotels chain as the service is getting worse and worse in all these hotels, but in Copenhagen - is the worst!

We stayed here and we were very happy with the location and how quiet it was. We were on the 6th floor the view was fantastic. Its also very walkable into the city from here. And there are cabs right out front. Easy to rent a car from Hertz here too. Breakfast was great here. The rooms were big and bathrooms were great!

Stayed here while visiting our daughter on her semester abroad and it did not disappoint. Staff could not have been kinder, the executive club access a bonus, and location superb. Though once certainly feels the corporate nature of this big hotel chain it is not all bad. The staff and management have done a fine job intertwining European charms into a contemporary property. When Bill Marriott and his dad grace every lobby it suggests they must care about the patron’s experience.

5-star stay in high floor room #943. Clean, quiet, bright, very large double room (rare in CPH) with classic Marriott design. City view room has large window with great view of Tivoli and City Center. The beds point toward City Centre so can sit in bed and see the city & Tivoli view. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout visit. Good lighting in room, especially for reading with individual reading lights on the bedside table lamp. Comfy mattress. Wi-Fi was consistently available. A/C & heat were good and adjustable. Large and clean bathroom. Great tub for a soak after a long day of touring. Robes, good quality hairdryer, electric tea kettle, coffee, tea & mini-bar in room. Large, fully equipped modern clean gym with large locker room and sauna.

About a 10-15 minute walk from central train station and Tivoli on a well-traveled main road, so pretty safe. There are no restaurants or cafes nearby since located in a developing part of town, kind of isolated from the core tourist areas. However, new hotels opening nearby will increase activity. Location is about a 15-minute walk to any main attractions. The waterfront location is beautiful and peaceful, a good trade off. We were there in October after cruise/tourist season on Culture Night weekend, not crowded. Recommend the nearby Black Diamond Library or Arkitectur Design Center Cafes. I am a Silver Rewards member and redeemed points I saved up over the years, good use of my points! Can't say enough about our enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: City View Double Room #943 can sit in bed and see city center & Tivoli.

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to leaving on an 11 night Baltic Cruise. It is a lovely hotel, rooms were very spacious, and great location to access all the sights of Copenhagen. Easy walk to many restaurants too. Could pick up the hop on/hop off bus right in front of the hotel. And they had an easy transport that you can pay for to get us to our cruise ship which was a nice surprise and i think it was very reasonable given the distance away. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view.
