My main quibble with the stay was that the rooms seem to vary quite a lot in quality. I believe we booked the last available room, so perhaps we were stuck with the worst room, but it wasn't cheap (we paid something like 200 euro a night), and for that price, the third-floor rooms are not a great value. The bed was a double bed, which was pretty cramped for my tall husband, and the room had a slanting ceiling under an eave. There was no bathtub (which other reviewers described in their rooms), and the room was small and not pleasant to be in because there simply wasn't much space for two people. The courtyard is a lovely place for a drink at night, with a fountain and tree lights, and breakfast was good though they automatically bring you an egg with bacon cooked into the bottom of it without inquiring if you are vegetarian. Breakfast also includes a bread basket, yogurt, and a quite nice cheese and fruit plate. Location-wise, you are quite close to DOKK-1 but about a 10-minute walk from the Latin Quarter. There is parking on-site, but you need to pay an extra fee. If you can get a nice room NOT on the third floor, then I would say that the breakfast and the courtyard make this a lovely option, but if the only thing available is on the third floor, then it may not be worth the money.

Room tip: Avoid the third floor as our room was cramped and under an eave with no bathtub

My friend and I had a very pleasent stay at Villa Provence and particularly enjoyed the bathtub and the amazing breakfast.
We only had to stay for one night, so for us the quality of service and comfort was a big factor and we'll definitely recommend other to stay here as well.

Silent beautifull magic place - as being in southern france or in the reclusive country side - even though you are in the very midle of Aarhus. Very romantic Rooms and amazing interior. luxery beds and linens- gourmet breakfast - and very very kind and helpfull staff. The best place to Fall in love, both with each other, Aarhus and life !

Queried charge for a cup of tea (not told there would be a charge, but no facilities provided in room) on check out and was shouted at extensively by the man we were talking to. He was so aggressive that I asked to see the manager - turned out he was the owner. Disgusting behaviour, have never experienced anything like it before.

Not mentioned in the information but is very noisy - seemed to be right next to lots of student accommodation so kept up at night by lots of shouting (and vomiting...) outside the hotel.

Rooms are fine but looking a little tired.
