Anne &I wanted to see the sunset at OIA so went and booked to go with this tour company .It cost E15 each for the round trip and we were Told to return that evening at 5.30 pm to leave to OIA .On arrival it became clear that we were the only two going. We set of in a car with our own driver and enjoyed the beautiful views as we made our way OIA.Our driver was a very nice man who only spoke a small amount of English ,he informed us that the car would stay at the point of arrival and we would leave to return to Kamari at 9.00pm (this gave us plenty of time to d and see what we wanted ) We returned to Kamari arriving back at approx 9.30pm after an enjoyable evening. We used the same company for our transfer to the airport. We found them to be friendly &reliable and would use them again.Thankyou to al staff.

My husband and I spent his 60th birthday in Santorini with a private guide.
It was a great day and we particularly enjoyed being seperate from the large tour buses from the cruise ships. Our guide personalized our full day tour to match our particular interests.
We HIGHLY recommend this company and cant wait to go back and visit this amazing place.

The best place for sunsets is thira not rammed crowded like Oia
Thira is lively and fantastic atmosphere and lots of shops and bars all tightly packed plus short walk to cable car down to quay side have a look at the pictures

For those who have trouble walking up and down slopes and stairs think about the whole trip (irrespective of the tor operator).
Ours started with the first stop at Volcano island..Its quite a trek to the top interspersed with guide's comments on history. There is a place where you cans till see gases coming out and it stinks like a rotten eggs because of sulphur! My sister took quite soem time to come rock as the soil and rocks are a a bit loos.e Then come hot springs but dnt go swimming too close to the brown water esp if you are wearing light colored swimsuits or dont like taste of such mineral water. Then next stop for 1 hour is another iland village with too many stairs to climb up. we didnt go to any of the restaurants as food was expensive. Rather to the right where the boats leave you, there is a good sandwhich, coffee and icecream place which is cheap and with excellent views.

Last it drops you at bottom of Oia stairs. Either you climb up 250 stairs (as we did) or take a donkey. Even if you take a donkey you have to wait as most people dont climb up. If you are walking up, try and find places to stand and catch ur breath when the donkeys go up and own ina group..you can get injured. We were lucky...when we started going up, a bunch was coming down..so by the time we trekked up, we had no issues.

TIP: Nobody tells you about he 250 steps and that its not advisable for people with heart problems, asthma and pregnant ladies. the entire Oia steps is filled with donkey excreta and smells terrible
