We stayed at the Domes of Elounda for one week, and this hotel did not disappoint. This was by far, one of our favorite places.
The rooms are large and spacious, with amazing views!!

The staff made our stay worthwhile they were amazing, and special KUDOS to Vlad (concierge) and Alex(who operated the golf carts).

Must do’s: visit Agios Nikolas, and taking the speedboat to Santorini.

Restaurant/ Bar we enjoyed:- “Babel”; we watched the World Cup many nights at that location; and Kournagios @ Agios Nikolas.

We will definitely return to this hotel our next time in Crete!

We stayed at Domes of Elounda for a week’s family holiday in early July in a two bedroom private residence. We have stayed at Domes of Elounda before so we knew what to expect, and we weren’t disappointed. The hotel is nicely designed and well maintained, luxurious without being pretentious. The food in the restaurants was great and the standard of the accommodation was superb. What stands out for me at Domes of Elounda, however, are the staff. They take the trouble to get to know you personally, and are often one step ahead in terms of what you’re asking for. We really felt welcome at the hotel and that we mattered, and that made our holiday special. That’s why we returned to Domes this year and will be doing so again.

Vast resort that is immaculately kept. The public and private pools are very nice and spacious. Staff was helpful and courteous overall, but interesting enough the staff in the concierge room was the least helpful. Overall the food was good and standard hotel pricing.
It definitely is a family resort, so if you are traveling without kids I might consider a differ property.

Have been a number of times now- positives: the suites are very nice though on this occasion we had very limited view. Despite gold marriott status we didn't get an upgrade, were told on day of arrival the hotel was full- which it clearly wasn't, and the view was a bit disappointing especially as we know what other rooms offer. Some have tremendous views and outside areas. Staff and food were faultless and the pool is outstanding (not as cold as previous years). Spa also really excellent- great staff and treatments, On the downside, unless you pay for access to their 'upgraded haute living facility' (a concept I really don't like- it creates a resort within for a resort for those who can afford it...) you can only use a small outside gym area which is so hot its effectively unusable. And can't use half of the beach area which has the most comfortable loungers etc.

Dome of Elounda is a fantastic hotel. Stunning grounds, lovely big rooms, amazing pool area and a small but clean beach with a very calm sea. This is the perfect place to take young kids (we travelled with 1 yr old twins). The staff are amazing, literally all of them..that’s what really makes this hotel what it is. The food is nice enough and there are a variety or restaurants to choose from if you don’t go half board. The grounds are lovely, rooms aren’t overly l
We used the crèche and the staff are great, we felt very comfrotbale leaving out little ones there. The crèche staff are also the babysitters which is reassuring,
The bad bits – the pools are quite cold. They drinks are expensive (4.50 Euros for a 200ml Pepsi, not even coca cola!) and there are a lot of steps to get to most of the rooms!
