This enchanted little alley makes for wonderful vacation memories. We enjoyed listening to the traditional Cretan musicians and had a wonderful meal. We were even entertained by two couples that danced along to some of the songs. Make sure you find out when the music will start that evening and arrive close to the same time so you don't have to wait for a table.

I’m reviewing this based on the whole experience and I have to say it was our nicest evening in Chania.
The staff are very friendly and the restaurant itself is extremely inviting, with a long courtyard at the back outside the Chania synagogue.
We were feeling a little below par when we arrived and weren’t very hungry and said we’d only have something small but we were soon swept up in the great atmosphere.
There was a band playing traditional music and the restaurant staff (I think) were dancing. It was really nice.
All in all it was a great evening and felt like a real traditional Cretan experience.
It was the last night of my holiday and we were really glad we spent it here.
Highly recommended.

Food is very average. The touting lady on the street is nice but service in the restaurant is rather more grim than friendly. First time in a week I learnt about the couvert fee.
Afterwards, I relised that with that handwritten bill I got, I could legally have refused to pay. Would not recommend.

We had a very nice meal here. The best part was the music and the live dancing. Crete has a different style from the rest of Greece. Nice outside seating and a good selection on the menu. Pork solvaki was delicious.

Third time to Crete and always wanted to visit this restaurant but too busy. Visited today and had an amazing lunch. 6 adults, 3 children. Staff so welcoming and accommodating!! The food was so lovely and really authentic. 100% recommend.
