Having visited last year for drinks and ice cream we were fortunate enough to be able to return to Avocado for dinner this year. And we are so happy that we did. The quality of the food on offer in this hidden gem is so far superior to any other restaurant that we have visited in Chania over the many years that we have holidayed here. Fabulous food served beautifully in a lovely, elegant setting. And the most unbelievable value for money! The prices and the quality put many other more touristy venues to shame. Don't miss this amazing treat. Beyond 5 stars!!! Thank you Avocado.

Came across this place walking to the harbour. It us in a municipal garden by the stadium.
We ordered drinks to start - a good local beer and a very nice Samoan wine. A plate of delicious fried potatoes were bought complementary, which were stunning.
On ordering food, we had lovely bread and a bowl of favas also complementary.
We had Moussaka and Linguine with Mushrooms - both delicious and very generous portions.
We were so full, we didn't have room for the melon bought afterwards!
This is a little gem and we will certainly go again during this visit - the menu is varied and caters for all.
The location is relaxing and with a lovely ambience.

I was there one and a half year ago with my family , and as soon as i perceived that every saturday night there is a live concert going on in the restaurant i didn't hesitated going there another time. I happily found out that the concert had both english and greek songs and the area was packed with guests so we sat in. The food was very good as well and arrived in decent time. I will be looking forward to its next live performances throughout the summertime!

Very friendly staff and excellent food. Menus only in greek, but they helped translate. We had pita pizza, lencil and peas bake and a very delicious fresh made musakka.

I stumbled across this place during a wander through the town and spent a wonderful hour sitting in the sunshine, watching the terrapins in the pond which Avocado overlooks and eating the best bean cassoulet I've even had. The service was really welcoming (the menu is in Greek so the waiter kindly described everything for me) and I had an espresso and main course for less than 10E. Complementary raki and honey cake topped off the best lunch of our trip to Chania.
