This hotel is absolutely perfect. The staff, the location, the quality of the accommodation couldn't be faulted, and it's probably one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in. Original features are beautifully preserved, but with the height of modern elegance and luxury. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The building has been beautifully renovated and updated whilst preserving the original features and charm. The rooms are luxuriously appointed and the breakfast dining area looks out over the harbor. The original stone stairs leading directly to the harbor are still in use so you can walk straight down from the dining area to the port. I had a stunning sea view from my room and balcony. There is free bottled water in the mini bar. The staff go out of their way to accommodate you, ordering taxis, recommending sites to visit etc. The harbor is a busy area but this hotel somehow has an aura of calm.

I wish I could give a 0!!
These THIEVES just took an unauthorised illegal transaction of 2100 euro from our account because THEY made a huge error in the booking.
We booked for 5 people (3 adults, 2 children) and confirmed verbally numerous times. This was booked over a month in advance. We were booking for the same amount of people for two whole months in Europe. We didn’t just decide to forget one person on one small section of our trip.
We arrived at midnight to find we only had one room. All open plan, to share with our children and a nanny. Something we were not comfortable with as we like and are entitled to our own space.
We notified the desk at booking multiple times that we had a disabled son and nanny who require their own space. We were told that we would fit in the suite ‘easily’. Άνετα was the gentlemen’s comment multiple times.
Having stayed in many hotel suites before we assumed it was a different bedroom and were not informed otherwise. We immediately questioned the room set up and were told it could be sorted in the morning. As everyone was exhausted due to flight delays we took their word that we could work it out in the morning and went to sleep.
With full intentions of sorting out the problem that the hotel created we asked for a solution. Only to be told we had to book another room at extra cost but sill keep our large suite. Our only other option was to stay in the room ‘illegally’ as they mentioned themselves. There was no option to get two smaller rooms or to cancel and find something that suited us better. Ultimately they have extorted us into paying more for something we should have had to begin with!
We left so we could find something to fit our family and they still took the full payment when we told them they categorically did not have authorisation to do so. They had already taken 900 euro as a deposit and we were more than happy to forfeit that money.
Beware of these opportunistic thieves who would rather conduct illegal practice than give hard working families their money back.
We are reporting their actions to all of the relevant authorities.

We stayed for 3 nights on a return after 10 years to Chania.

It’s a boutique hotel situated at mid point of the old harbour and within the old town but inside it’s very quiet, so the noise of the street is barely heard.

The hotel interior is very modern with a lovely white, cool feel. We had a superior room with terrace overlooking the old town and mountains: the room to get though is the harbour view room with balcony.

Our room was very large with a rain shower, king bed and tea/coffee facilities. There could have been more storage space (there are no clothes drawers) but we were fine for 3 nights. The air con works quietly and efficiently though if you tamper with it you switch all the hotel’s air con off!

Breakfast is taken in an airy modern room overlooking the harbour, which is wonderful. Breakfast food wise is a little hit and miss but the view more than makes up for it.

You could hardly be better placed for old town Chania than staying at this hotel. Everything is outside the door. If driving you can use the nearby Talos square car park which is free to park and only a 5 min walk away.

The staff are very helpful and speak excellent English.
