Kalithea apts is now like a second home and my 9yr old is now doing this review, he says that it is perfectly situated between Elounda and Agios Nikoloas with beautiful views. It is easy for buses stops outside both ways every hour. my 12 yr old daughter says that Nikos the manager is great and the house keeper Poppy is lovely. There is nothing both will not do to make your stay a pleasant one. Bar now closes at 9pm but most guests out after that. Totally great value for money. So much so we booked again for next year whilst we were there.

Room Tip: All rooms have brilliant views

The apartments have a beautiful view of Agios nikoloas and the surrounding mountains and countryside. Absolutly loved sitting out in the nighttime and the silence except for the sound of goats in the mountain is an experience. The apartment we stayed in was like a seperate little greek house positioned on the side of the mountain. The girl at the reception called puppy was really friendly and welcoming. It's perfect for anyone who wishes to relax and even write as it's a total switch off from the world. The only fault is thet they are very far out and is really only suitable if you have a car as you need to drive back down to Agios for bars, restaurants etc. The pool is quiet deep and really only confident swimmers.

We arrived early to find no life and no staff members around. Only a note attached to the window stating that our key was in our apartment door and the expectation to find it. The apartment was dire, cockroach infested and air conditioning cost an extra 50 euros which we had not budgeted for.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and booked us taxis to nearby towns and tourist attractions as we were at awkward distances from both Elounda and Agios. The hotel pool was clean and there are lovely views everywhere in the hotel. Lovely Lovely owners

Room Tip: Higher floors have amazing views

Have stayed here for many years still a fantastic place in a great location. already booked for 2015. Angela , Nico and family are fantastic and always willing to help with any advice problems and just amazingly nice people. Looking forward to seeing them again next year. Both resorts of Elounda and Ag Nik are a bus ride away or 10 minutes by car.Cant wait to go back. Nicos bar manager great and always a pleasure to have a drink with, am hoping Maria the cleaner is back next year. all lovely lovely people.

Room Tip: Across the road is a lovely Taverna just watch the house wine 3 times more expensive than any I have ever had in Crete. Teach me for noot looking
