We stayed in paradise island villas for 1 week and it was wonderful.
The villa looked exactly as on the website, beautifully decorated and very well appointed.
A big kitchen and a lovely private swimming pool.
But above all - Eleni and Pol who run this great hotel with love and extra attention to every small detail, are the kindest people I have ever met. Always with a smile and great ideas on how to enjoy our stay in Crete .
Thank you so much ,we appreciate all your help and assistance .

We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay at Paradise Villas. The villa we stayed in was very well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were really impressed by how thoughtful Eleni and her team were e.g. they had left out a selection of pool toys in the garden for our three year old to play with during our stay.

The customer service at Paradise Villas is exemplary, they cannot do enough to help but without being overbearing. They were all very friendly and we particularly appreciated how welcoming and kind they were to our son.

I had to go and visit a doctor during my stay and Eleni was absolutely marvellous, she spoke to the receptionist and organised for a taxi to come and collect me. I was very grateful for all her help.

We really relaxed at Paradise Villas and were really well looked after by Eleni and her fantastic team. The food was also very delicious!

Paradise Island Villa is a beautiful setting. Our villa was nicely decorated and very clean. The pool is not heated and, due to the cool weather, we were not able to use it. The grounds are beautiful but it does not have a view outside of the villa. Coming from Santorini this was a disappointment. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Mike and Babis were extremely attentive and friendly in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner respectively. Babis recommended the fish soup and lobster - both delicious! If you are looking for an all inclusive place to relax, this is it! If you are planning on sightseeing you will need need a car because there is not anything in walking distance.

Paradise Island Villas is pretty near perfect. Beautiful accommodation, delicious food and the best service we have ever received whilst on holiday.
Accommodation – we chose to upgrade from the Senior Villa to a larger Executive Villa – available from our second night. The Senior Villa does have ample space, but if you are staying for longer it is nice to have the additional room. The Senior Villa has the bedroom on the upper floor and bathroom on the ground floor. Negotiating the spiral staircase at night to visit the loo may be a challenge for some. The EV has the advantage of 3 bathrooms spread across 2 floors
Both Villas are beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The garden is lovely and we spent most afternoons sitting under the olive trees. The pool, as other reviewers have mentioned, isn’t heated but this didn’t worry us. Our villa was on lots of different levels and again had a spiral staircase. Each villa is also alarmed when you leave, which was a nice touch (Plus you were given a gate device to work the main entrance).
We found that the Wi-Fi can be a bit hit and miss in the afternoon, presumably because of the high traffic but you cannot really blame the hotel for that. We got round this by checking in whilst having breakfast.
The hotel – the pictures do not really do the grounds justice. They are lovely, with a winding path through the ‘village’ of villas. The reception/bar/restaurant areas are very relaxing with lots of space to unwind. There are two main pools – one by the restaurant/bar and a quieter one in the middle of the ‘village’ area. I think the hotel has found the right balance between families and couples, we went at the end of September and everywhere was pretty quiet despite being at full occupancy
The food –
Dinner - we expected to go outside the hotel a few times to eat, but it was so good that we didn’t venture out at all in the evening (we were there to completely relax after all) The food ranged from good to brilliant. There were quite a few stand out meals but the sea bass was out of this world delicious. If you are offered baklava – take it – it will be the best you will ever taste. Babis is possibly the best waiter we have ever encountered. He is ably assisted by Stelio and both were very knowledgeable, helpful and funny.
Lunch – very good selection and I would recommend the island pitta – delicious. Delivery to your room/garden for €4 was worth it for us
Breakfast – Part of our package included the ‘Delicious’ breakfast which was perfect for a leisurely start to the day. Sitting under olive trees by the pool, we regularly took an hour plus. Mike, our waiter for breakfast and lunch was really nice, efficient and very courteous.
Service – we read the reviews, but also noted that this was a 5* boutique hotel so were not expecting the full 5* big hotel service thing. What we got was a million times better. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with love and care – from the lovely ladies who cleaned our room to the gardeners. Eleni and Pol were on hand to help with pretty much anything. One small thing that generally annoys me is the price hotels charge for bottled water, so you end up trudging to a local supermarket to buy some and lug it back. Not so here – 6 bottles delivered to your villa as soon as you ask and at the price you would pay at the supermarket. Everything was so thoughtfully done – we even received an e-mail checking we had arrived home ok and giving me the recipe I had asked for!
Outside – You can walk to three local villages but Eleni recommended a taxi as the walk to the first was mainly on main roads. We visited a few times walking on to Hersonissos – which was a bit lively for us, but we did have a nice couple of beers by the harbour which was pleasant enough. We generally walked down to the beach (@ 10 mins) and walked along the ‘front’. Right is the quieter option, left a bit livelier. Eleni will arrange car hire if required, but we were content to just wander.
In our view, all hotels should be like this – somewhere to completely relax and know that everything is taken care of. Eleni and her team have mastered the art of perfect service and we will be back!

We have just come back from a one week stay at Paradise Island Villas with our 6 and 5 year old. Our fifth visit in the last 5 years.

Frankly this place doesn't disappoint. It has a tranquillity which is so relaxing and yet the children don't seem to get bored. Eleni and Pol are like another aunt and uncle to them - the kids absolutely adore them and any time we went out they would be desperate to come back so they could go and chat to Eleni and Pol!

Eleni was brilliant at providing restaurant recommendations and good day trips to go on. Really recommend Saraderi restaurant close by. My 6 year old also went para-gliding at Eleni's recommendation which he absolutely loved.

Lovely lovely Mike doing a fantastic job with breakfast and lunch as ever - so good with the children and such a nice man. Babis in the evenings looked after us very well and made sure our glasses were always topped up - I would definitely recommend the delicious cocktails.

The place runs like absolute clockwork. The cleanliness is unrivalled by any hotel I've stayed at. Nothing is too much trouble - ask for it and it will appear within 5 minutes to your villa (e.g blackout blinds, more powerful hairdryer, toothbrush charger adapter etc.etc.).

The only problem is that one week is just not long enough! Thank you Eleni and Pol for another great holiday. See you soon, Claire and Olly xx
