Owner description: Walk or take the funicular tramway to the top of this hill for the best views of Athens

I took a monorail which was a bit disappointment (no views, goes in the dark tunnel) so if you are not disabled I would recommend to take a walk instead and enjoy the stunning views! Good restaurant or two on the top and a beautiful orthodox chapel.

A truly unique and 360 degrees stunning view on Athens. It is the only place that will allow you to see the Acropolis from above. We reached it with a taxi from Monastiraki Metro area and only paid 8 euro. Obviously the best time to go is sunset. Only small downside, the place is understandably crowded, as it is quiet small, and everyone is taking pictures. Still worth it, I would go again.

Teleferik cable can take up and bring back down for 7.5€ per person. The view is worth every buck (cash only accepted)

On top you can find small Orthodox Church, restaurant and 360 view of Athens.

A great place to climb on foot. There are multiple winding paths through woods and wild flowers, with the occasional tortoise and kitten to entertain you along the way. Just keep heading uphill and you’ll be fine. The views along the way are absolutely stunning.

It's a place where you can escape the noise of the city , especially in the night it has a lot of young couples that enjoy that view!
