We picked this place for its location and rooftop bar looking at the Acropolis. Even in September, the hotel was busy w tourists so unfortunately we weren’t able to check in early after our long flight. The location of the hotel couldn’t get any better, right in the neighborhood of Plaka and just a few min walk from the Acropolis museum and the major sights.
The best part of the hotel is the rooftop bar, where you can grab a cocktail, sit back in the lounge chair and look at the Acropolis. We didn’t the time to eat here but the cocktails were great and the service was good. The lobby bar was also pretty good; make sure to try the homemade baklava, it was amazing!
The buffet breakfast in the am was good but nothing expectional. The rooms were adequate but I do have to say that the bathroom was extremely small, we could barely move around in there. The hotel doesn’t give complimentary water so make sure to get some, you’ll need in the heat of the summer,
The staff however were friendly, gave suggestions for dinner and arranged coffee and snacks prior to our departure on the last day. The gesture was thoughtful and much appreciated!More
