This place is right opposite the Herodion hotel and is a great place for a late glass of wine, a coffee or for a lunchtime snack. They always bring you a small plate of meat, tomatoes and cheese on bread to go with your wine, plus a small biscuit with your coffee. It does get very busy with locals but you can usually find a seat. The open sandwiches are beautiful as are sandwich 1,2 and 3 - no they don't have names.
If you are in the area, browse the books, enjoy a drink and the atmosphere sitting under the trees - note they close on Monday

We found it by chance , on our wanderings, and were so glad we did! Well, it was better after the quartet of very heavy Lady Smokers left their nearby table-but you can't have everything! Quite charming!

Our favorite breakfast in Athens! I had an iced latte and my boyfriend had Greek coffee. We then shared the sandwich with Noussa’s smoked cheese, corfu’s beef prosciutto, handmade pesto, red Lola and cucumber, the savory croissant with cheese and smoked turkey, and the lemon tart for dessert. Everything was delicious and the tart in particular was perfect. Friendly service and the bookstore is really cool to browse after you eat!

We were really just looking for a place to sit for a minute. But this cute little corner spot turned out to be a great find. We sat outside (a little dirty but ok) and ordered “whatever it is that smells so good”. We were told it was the croissants and a new batch won’t be ready for 20 minutes. That was perfect because it felt great to rest and people watch. When they arrived (ordered with butter and jam) they were HOT and delicious. The other food we watched being served looked like it would be worth another visit for. Staff is super friendly. Lots of locals.
