The Flores hotel was outstanding on many levels; great central location in the heart of Porto, clean rooms, comfortable bed, delicious complimentary breakfast. However, the standout for this hotel was the exceptional service we received from the friendly and helpful staff. From the great welcome, to great recommendations on restaurants, we were very impressed. Thanks for the great stay!

Lovely hotel and fabulous staff. Massage was great. Rooms really comfortable and everything you need.
Breakfast was limited if you have dietary requirements but I took my own and they were happy to make fresh eggs for me.
Port available all day and afternoon refreshments a lovely touch.
Good location.
Would certainly visit again

The Flores hotel is in a very central location ideal for getting to all parts of Porto. Getting to the hotel from the airport is easy just take the Metro to Trindade and change lines to Sao Bento. This takes about 30 minutes and cost under 2 euros. The walk from the metro station to the hotel is only a couple of minutes.
On arrival the staff were great and offered us a free glass of port wine then gave us an upgrade to an apartment when we had only booked a double room.
The apartment was quite large with a kitchen, cooker, hob, microwave, coffee machine etc.
A nice size lounge with table and chairs, settee,TV and a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed.
The bathroom was of a high standard with good quality soaps etc. slippers and dressing gown. Everything worked well water was hot and the shower great.
The breakfast was of a high standard with everything that you could want what ever nationality you are.
The hotel has the added amenities of a spa etc. And a nice lounge with free tea and coffee. There is also a garden area with sun beds and stunning views over Porto.

Great hotel and service in the best location.

We booked this hotel for a short week end break and would highly recommend it. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, giving us directions to places of interest, and recommending some superb restaurants

We stayed for 2 nights in a family suite in January 2017.

The hotel is situated on a small pedestrianised street in the heart of Porto, not far from the Sao Bento metro and railway station. On arrival we were warmly greeted with a glass of port before being shown to our room - a family suite consisting of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large sitting room with a kitchen area behind a wall. It was all very nicely and comfortably furnished. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection and was very good. Overall a perfect place from which to explore Porto.

[Just a note - when we were staying at the hotel there was a large building project across the road from the hotel. This did not affect us as we were early risers - however you might want to check the progress of these works or book a room on the opposite side of the hotel away from the works if it might concern you].
