Very modern business hotel, very elegantly decorated and with lots of light. The food is magnificent and the staff very educated and polite. The conference rooms are pleasant and with a very good sound system integrated in the room. Very clean. Easy access to the highway

Stayed here for 2 days with family and the rooms were dated. We had two rooms, the AC worked great in one room and barely worked in the other. Electric plugs were hanging out of the wall in room 806. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were too soft. The TV is really small for a Marriott hotel. There were signs in the elevator that said it was a nonsmoking hotel, but there was the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways.

The staff was very nice and accommodating with requests for ice and a wine bottle opener. The hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall with a nice Continente grocery store and restaurants. Usually stay at Marriott hotels, but I’m not sure I would stay at this one again.

Thank you for your review and for enumerating the opportunities to improve. I am sorry for the shortcomings you have experienced during your stay with us.

We already talked with our Maintenance Dept. so that issues like the electric plugs do not happen again.

Regarding the nonsmoking Hotel, unfortunately there are customers that do not respect the signs and keep on smoking inside the rooms. Sometimes we only realize when it is too late and the smell is already in the hallways.

Nice hotel, great location, good room…...It was right next to the highway, and easy to get to. Free parking on the road. We were able to get to the city in 10 minutes (car). Being Platinum members we got upgraded to a large junior suite. Nice hardwood floors, well furnished. The only downside was that we are used to complimentary breakfast, however the front desk manager explained that the AC hotels have a different policy for Marriott Platinum members and do not offer free breakfast.

This hotel was not far off of the motorway and had free parking outside, or else parking in paid car park next to the hotel. Taxi to Centre of town only around 8 euros, although there is a metro station close by, next to the football stadium, if you wanted to use that. The room was comfortable, but lacked some of things that we were used to when using Marriott hotels, i.e. no tea and coffee making facilities and no iron or board. I did ask in reception if I could have a kettle to make tea, but was told that our room category did not have a kettle, although higher ones did. I was not aware when I booked, otherwise I would have chosen a category that did! Having booked last year for the two nights we were there, it was not clear that this hotel was not of the normal Marriott standard, so would be wary in the future about booking an AC Hotel, although in fairness, the room was good, as was the bathroom. Just lacked the normal things we expect from Marriott, our hotel of choice. We did manage to keep going down to the first floor cafe and getting a jug of hot water, so solved our tea issue, but a kettle would still have been better. Staff very efficient and professional.

Despite the AC Hotel Brand being a part of the marriott chain, we, unfortunatly, cannot offer the same services and infrastructures a Marriott hotel has. Dear Manager of the hotel

Please be so kind to change the music of the restaurant & bar of the hotel.
It’s perfect for a spa but not for a restaurant/bar.

Treadmill in the fitness is also time to change it for a new one. There is no chance to run properly with this old and not maintained one.

Kind regards and all the rest in your hotel is fine!

We are sorry that the music selection was not to your liking but unfortunately we are not authorized to change the playlist since it is supplied by the hotel chain however we are in process of renewal of several areas of the hotel including the rooms and common areas such as our gym and rest assured that the equipment in the fitness center is no exception.
