Lovely sea and city view. The room was clean and quiet. Nice staff. Great bicycles to rent. We also used the spa and the swimming pool and we were very pleased.
We stayed 5 nights and only had breakfast on the first day with sea view, the other days this room was closed and we had to go to a room with no view whatsoever , it is a real shame, breakfast with sea view is so much better.

I rate average because of the bed basically (I didnt sleep at all during my stay).

Here is my take:

Positive things:
Super nice staff and great service. Surf location is perfect if you want to surf at Espinho, right at the break. Breakfast is good. The pool area is nice. Very clean but VERY old hotel.

Average:
Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms but have mold in the bathtub, it's an old building I guess that's expected and it's clear they painted over the bath tiles to make it look "nicer" because the paint is coming off and you can see pink tile traces, but everything is clean.

Negative:
TERRIBLE BEDS!!! As hard as a the floor and they only give you one tiny pillow per bed (premium bedroom), bring your own pillows here they are terrible, clearly very cheap. After 4 nights of not sleeping AT ALL because my back hurts like hell, I don't think I will ever come back, I'm going back home even more tired when the idea was to "rest and relax". On my last night I was up since 3am trying to find a comfortable position and it was impossible, I barely slept at all during this trip. My friend who stayed at another bedroom complained about the beds/pillows as well (btw we paid for premium she paid for the cheaper option and she got a better view). I am so tired I honestly regret how much we spent, we paid to not sleep basically and I will probably have to pay for a chiropractor as soon as I get back home, honestly my back is killing me like never before.

Parking lot - if you find a spot and park on the top floor ok, but if by any chance you have to park downstairs beware, the entrance is tiny and complicated and there is no elevator so you better get all your bags out of your car before you go down or you will be walking up the steep ramp with all your belongings.

we stay in Praiagolfe Hotel for 2 nights to attend a wedding in espinho. the hotel is in a good location near the beach, train station and plenty of restaurant around the hotel. breakfast is not to bad, but we request for iron because my wife wants to iron her dress but the hotel staff said they have no iron available. and no kettle in the room for making coffe.

A lovely hotel. I have stayed in the Praiagolfe on a number of occasions and have come to regard a number of the staff as my friends. I intend to visit at least once every year in the future. Wonderful.

Good location at a walking distance from ocean, train station, and supermarket but a bad client servicing level... no greeting or smile. Too slow in solving problems . Our rooms reservations were mixte up. The food is also average
