Very cheap accommodation, with a twin room that was a good size for the price.
The room was clean and well maintained.
The location was convenient, close to the busiest part of Funchal.
The room was very dark, without proper lighting. What appeared to be a mains switch did not seem to be connected to anything and there was just a small lamp to light the whole room.
The wi-fi connection was very poor, especially early in the evening when it was often impossible to connect.
It was noisy for most of the night, starting with people outside the local bars and continuing with vehicles arriving at all hours to supply the market directly across the street.More
