This is a great restaurant right on the beach at Adraga, it is wildly popular so always try to book ahead especially on a Sunday. Food is excellent, seafood of course, crab starter which was one of the best we've had and turbot main. Local and wider Portuguese wines all available.
It is pricey by Portuguese standards but the quality and location make it worth it. Popular with locals as well as tourists.

Last week my wife and I travelled to Lisbon to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had seen this restaurant featured on a Rick Stein programme. The restaurant is located on the beach and we walked down from the small village at the top of the hill. Not knowing what to expect we were slightly anxious but as we rounded the corner there in front of us was a fabulous beach with the glorious sunshine and the waves crashing on the rocks it was wonderful. This was all great but our made purpose of being there was to sample the food at De Adraga. We were not disappointed, although the restaurant was busy and we hadn't pre-booked they went out their way to find us a table. From the clams to start and then Golden Bream for our main and a special meringue for dessert the whole meal was delicious.

We went for the beach and wanted to eat here but knew it might be hard to get in without a reservation. The owner, George, was so kind about working us in a table. The food and service was great. George handles himself in a excellent fashion, acting as host, waiter, answering the phone, and making everyone feel welcome. The percebes were a treat as were the grilled sardines and grilled salt cod.

Always come back here, as the seafood is fresh and very local. Rumour has it that they source some of their fish from the local anglers. Four of us shared a garouper, and it was incredible. Great view of the beach. Reservations a must. Enjoy!

This is a great restaurant by adraga beach. It serves a selection of fresh seafood and fish depending on what the fishermen catch. I had percebes and octopus both of which were simply cooked and tasted fantastic. Good / inexpensive choice of wine. Great staff who were friendly and provided good service. Reasonably priced. Easy to get to by car or taxi / Uber. I enjoyed it so much I went back the next day.
The restaurant is busy and so a reservation is recommended.
