A nice classy restaurant in Sintra. Although many tourists, it does not have the touristy feel. As others have noted, you are greeted by the owner who also served us (does not speak English well but easy to communicate with). The food was very good. For my main, I had pork cheeks which had a very robust, complex flavor. The highlight though was a black sausage starter (not at all like British black pudding), which was chopped sausage (like mince) served with crackers (not that appealing, looked like saltines). Very tasty. Wine was also good and reasonably priced. Only negative was my wife was disappointed with her vegetarian risotto, as the vegetables tasted like a frozen veg medley.
