We stayed down the street from this restaurant and decided to give it a try and ended up eating there two nights in a row. Their flank steak dinner is outstanding and while we meant to order the tomato salad, we accidentally ordered the flower salad which was small but delicious. The next night four of us split the tomato salad and empanadas as appetizers---both quite good. One meal was not cooked as requested and they gladly took it back and recooked the meat as requested. The prices are reasonable and sitting out on the street was much fun. It can get windy in the evening so hold on to your drink glass. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

Upon favorable reviews in travel books we sought this quaint little restaurant out. We were glad we did, as we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We had no reservation but were seated immediately. The house wine was good and we got the sea bass filet and enjoyed it. The staff was efficient, though not particularly enthusiastic about service.

For our last evening in Lisbon we visited this Argentinian restaurant. Immediately the authentic aura of the place took our attention. The service was friendly and the starters were simply excellent, thereby preparing us for what was yet to come. We ordered the ribeye steak and, the specialty of the house, flank steak with chimichurri sauce. One cannot expect more from a steak: a solid piece of high-quality meat, excellently grilled and served with fine vegetables (excellent!!!). Delirious as we were about this great meal we additionally ordered desert (albeit that we all had more than enough...). Also the desert, based on fresh red fruits with merengue and whipped cream was absolutely great. To end the price/quality ratio was very favorable. This is an excellent, authentic and warm place that we are happy to recommend. For sure, when we visit Lisbon in the future, we shall aim for this restaurant again, either with family or colleagues!

We returned with friends to this retro/epoque restaurant.
In fact there are two dining rooms, in consecutive buildings, one more like a cafe and the other more restaurant.
We feel welcome by the cosy decoration, the tables are quite small and on top of each other, the music adequate for a late afternoon and dinner.
Although the restaurant should be Argentinian food, there are also Portuguese delicacies. The meat was perfect quality and preparation. However quality/price isn't good as it is very expensive for the service offered.
I guess it is designed as a tourist attraction more than locals.
Its in the heart of Lisbon old town.

Could come back if cheaper, there are certainly many other options at better price.

Went with a group of seven for dinner. Bit of a climb to get there but is was on recommendation of hotel. Service was fine and menu selection was adequate as were the starters. As it was Argentine themed five of us chose the rib eye steaks. That was were things started to go downhill. None of the steaks were cooked to our request - two of us sent them back to see if the chef could retrieve something from the wreckage. But apart from the fact that they were not cooked to the level requested the cut and standard of the steaks were appalling. We were left chewing them for ages in an effort to try and digest them. It was not a pleasant experience. It may be that the seafood on the menu was an improvement but I would certainly not recommend going there if you are looking for a good steak.
