I bought this attraction to my girlfriend as a Christmas gift, and probably couln't imagine that this one will be so cool. We are food lovers and most of the money always spending in restaurants, but this time decided to make our own food with the professional chef.

We were three pairs and our chef with long experience, even in the restaurants with Michelin stars. We all participated in making our dinner, drunk some wine and talked with other pairs and got known a lot of Portuguese culture and food.

If you want to get known Portuguese culture through your stomach - this is the best way. Really strongly recommend this attraction, and you won't be disappointed.

It was our first time in Lisbon as well as our first time taking a cooking lesson together. We did the 1.5 hour pastry course in the morning, where we were joined by 2 other couples. The class was very low stress. It's fantastic for amateur bakers or people just curious about how the delicious Pasteis de Nata are made, since they're sold at about every cafe in Lisbon.

We prepared two bakes: the custard tarts (de Nata) and light-as-air muffins. Afterward, we enjoyed our pastries over coffee and some great introductory conversation about Lisbon. The guys were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and offered to provide tips about the city well after we left the class.

Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a chill, tasty way to experience a bit of Portuguese culture.

David was a fantastic teacher, we had a great day going to the market, cooking and enjoying wine! This class is highly recommended to really learn the culture of Portugal.

Logistics - easy to find and very close to metro stop when coming from downtown water front. No issues, 5 stops

Instructor - Pedro, very organized, everything set up and ready to go for us to take over, gave a great overview to start of the entire menu; everyone was able to take a significant part of the cooking and you didn’t just own one piece of the meal. He let us be very fluid in trying everything. He gave helpful hints along the way and included tips on cooking/baking. He also timed the dinner very well! All was ready on time to eat.

Class - bread, olives and wine available throughout for snacking during cooking; definitely felt flexible to try cooking each dish or watching others to their part. Very diverse menu with starters like soup and meat balls to dinner with fish and dessert with cake/pudding. WiFi is available if you need it too.

Great way to learn more about Portugal! Highly recommend for couples, adult families and solo travelers. Do not recommend for families with young kids as we had a 4 person young family and the kids were not engaged or temperamental.
