Some pretensions to fine dining, though the quality of the dishes and prices not at that level; some things are good, some rather underwhelming. The service was inattentive. May be because there are few waiters.

Outstanding street - especially during the summer...many things to do...a lot of old trees to provide shade and beauty and many stores and cafes. It is the main street in Lisbon so it is really the epi-center of the city

I was visiting Lisbon on a business trip and ended up at this restaurant, pretty much randomly. The menu at the front door looked promised so I walked in without a reservation.
I had the 45€ set menu and it was just excellent. Delicious food both from the taste and from the presentation viewpoint.
On the slightly down side: air conditioning made the restaurant a bit too cold and service could have been quicker (but maybe I was biased by the fact that I was alone).

Just crossed the road from my hotel for a solo dinner. And I couldn't have chosen better! Super high level service and a limited - the way I like it - menu. I wanted to have a small bite and ordered a small starter and main course. They were preceded by several 'tasters' whilst the the sommelier, Brazilian Giscard Müller, gave top-notch wine advise. Being a wine expert myself, I have to say I was impressed with Giscards knowledge on Portuguese wines and his recommendations were pairing perfectly with the dishes. The food and presentation was top quality. Prices were very reasonable! A must go-to for delicate food and wine lovers! Try a glass of Carcavelos wine with your dessert (I didn't have desert) but tried this 'Port-alike' wine from the Lisbon Cascais area to finish the meal: super!
