My husband and I went for weekday lunch. It was comfortable and very relaxing. The service was good and the food delicious. The presentation lovely and very professional. If you approach from the Calcade do Galvao, you may enter the garden free. The restaurant is air conditioned in this heat a definite plus.

We were looking for a place to have a dinner for the family after the christening of our chidren, and this would have been the perfect place for it, but unfortunately it was taken for the day for a wedding. They only open the big restaurant for special occasions, and the small restaurant opened every day is small, with a reduced menu, mostly consisting of salads, sandwiches and the occasional pasta. But although simple everything is quite good, the ambiance is very peaceful and the restaurant is placed in the midst of one of the most beautiful gardens in Lisbon. Well worth a visit to the botanical garden at mid-morning, entrance is free, and then stay for a light lunch at the restaurant.

This place is one of the best restaurants to have an incredible brunch/very complete lunch. It has a great diversity of hot and cold dishes, including see food, natural juices, and very good deserts.

The brunch is only served on weekends and prior reservation is very advisable.

After or prior to having brunch/lunch, do not forget to visit the very beautiful garden that exists is the surroundings.

Had lunch in this beautiful location with a group of around 20 people. the dishes were great, the wine complemented the food and the service was really excellent. Can't say much about the prices, but I think it's worth it's value. Certainly worth a visit.

We went to Estufa Real for breakfast. The place is quite panoramic with views of the beautiful gardens outside. In addition to the botanic species in the botanic garden, there are a few beautiful peacocks.

After we parked the car, we went to the restaurant and the whole check-in process was quite chaotic. Guests would get in without signing in with the master waiter. There should be a host to do this so that the process is more efficient.

Once at the table, we were offered a glass of sparkling wine and then we started the buffet. There was a quite impressive offer of cold dishes, warm dishes and an even more wow dessert section. There were oysters and conches as part of the exquisite food offer.

The service was old-fashioned but still very good, with our glasses of water being topped up quite often. Unfortunately, service got slow when it came to pick up our plates from the table or at the very end when we requested the check and wanted to pay.

The big negative in this restaurant is the amount of loud children running in the restaurant which really damages the ambiance. There room should be divided in two, being that one of the sections would be for adults only. Alternatively, there should be a sign strictly forbidding children from running and yelling.

Even though I loved this place, I would perhaps consider the brunch at Bica do Sapato instead, where there are not as many families with children and the children that are there normally behave.
