I just want to thank t all the people who are participating by creating this kind of places for kids. There is nothing better than showing something really cool for your generation, and you never know who will be the next Einstein - so grab your kid and I can guarantee that he/she will be enjoying it.

O Pavilhao do Conhecimento - Ciencia Viva is a museum especially for kids. The thought behind it is to explain science to the kids. The museum can be interesting for kids of all ages, including the parents, but it mainly is suitable for younger children. My son was 9 years old at the time we visited this place and he already felt to old for a lot of things.
What I absolutely disliked were the plenty of video games (mostly Angry Birds or such stuff) which was more or less like a magnet for the kids. So the idea behind this museum is just perfect, but the making of could be much better.

We go to this museum.because we visit the same one in Barcelona.and we thought it will be the same interesting. But the one in Lisbon is small and boring.there was nothing interesting for our child to do.We just walk arrownd for half an hour.and then go out.The one in Barcelona one day was not inought.Staff was good and kind

- and we've tried quite a few! This one was much more fun for the kids than the science museums in Copenhagen, Warsaw or even the nice museum in Lagos, Portugal.

Loads of activities and the entry fee was very reasonable - 24 EUR for a family of four!

The special exhibition of "Angry Birds" didn't exactly make the kids less excited about the whole thing. Not often you have to drag kids out of a museum :-)

We went there with our daughters aged 6,8 and 12. There were things for all of them including us, parents but mostly for children. There isn’t any cafeteria and just a machine to buy some drinks and snacks so go there with some food if you want to stay long. We stayed around 2 hours but we could have stayed if the children weren’t hungry. There are explanations also in English in most of the things. There are some lockers which are so big that you can put even a suitcase. The gift shop was good only for who speaks Portuguese. There is a family ticket around 24 euro. But l think the price is too much compared what it offers and with the size of museum.
