As with previous reviews, this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms and the hallways are very dated and damaged and the plumbing in the bathroom is from the 60s. We paid a fairly high rate for one night, if we had not been leaving very early the next morning, we would have looked for another hotel. We did ask to see another room but it was just as bad so we decided to stay in our original room. Thank goodness we were only there for 12 hours. This hotel is a dump, the photos on this website are deceiving as they show a well maintained room...this is not the case. I would never recommend this hotel.

I was expected for a 3 star to have a minimum . But minimum in 2017 is apparently higher than what you can have in this hotel . The hotel is very old and the room also , bed not very comfortable and rooms from the 60s. Cleaning girls shouting in front of the doors at 7.30 already and stepping into the room at 9 am without allowing you to say yes /no . Many hotels around this one but definitively even if it was for on night and with the price they charge you better going into an Ibis .

Plus of the hotel:

Close to the metro station (Entrecampos) and subway (Campo Pequeno)

A great Cafe across the street (opened late)

Great Housekeeping and Breakfast staff (5 out of 5)

Great city views ( try getting rooms on the 10th floor)

Major extractions all in close proximity (metro / taxi) available

Business center at the hotel lobby for printing documents / boarding pass etc.

Negatives of the hotel:

Rudest Front desk staff EVER!! Been a traveler around but not see such unfriendly and horrible rude reception staff

DONT bother to ask for recommendations and sightseeing at the front desk; you will regret asking!!!

Paulo - tough was understanding.

OMG! The elevators are a nightmare, be ready to wait for 10minutes at the lobby to get to your room or vice versa especially during breakfast time (5am -11am) check out time (12 noon - 1 pm)

The check in time is 14:00, so be ready to take rest at the lobby chairs / sofa. Request for an early check in and you will see what I meant from my above statement. You will get your room only at 14:00

The buffet breakfast is the same daily, no changes especially if you staying for a long stay.

ALL rooms are non smoking ( good thing) however the windows are always to the rescue.

I would only return to the hotel because of its proximity to get around Lisbon and other places.

It might be run down, but that is reflected in the price. Cleaning is okay, and not as bad as mentioned in other reviews.

Staff give the impression of being tired of their jobs. When asking if the hotel had any outdoor area, the response was, that this is a business area.

Worse is that you cannot unpack your suitcase as the wardrobe and wall under the window is covered with mould.

Avoid room 104 if you can.

Very basic hotel: per previous reviews the building is run down( some renovation currently ongoing in the lobby, so hopefully they will continue with the whole building)
The positive: easy access from the airport on metro or Aerobus- stop at Entrecampos.
Air conditioning works well, lots of hot water, good wifi. Front desk staff very helpful.
The downside : linens are tired, rooms need a coat of paint, hotel is a good 30 + min on transit to downtown. Depending on the deal $$ you get and what you are looking for it can be a valid option.
We stayed one night between our arrival in Lisbon and the beginning of a tour. Wouldn't have stayed much longer
