For a 4 star hotel you expect much more. Breakfast was not abundant, carpet not clean, wi-fi always disconnecting. Ive had better stay at a 3 star hotel than this hotel. Granted you are at Fatima on some sort of a pilgrimage but you cant compromise the quality of the hotel whatever the situation is.

We stayed in this hotel while on pilgrimage last year.
Previous experiences prooved to be more than challenging. Despite having made it clear that we had a strict diet, the hotel did not accommodate us in these requirements. Even though we had made several simple requests(provision of bananas, nectarines and honey), we were informed that they could not get any.
Strange, given that we sourced these foods in a local shop at little cost.
There were numerous other occasions when there was drama over melon being offered as a main meal.
Having said that, last year, they appeared to have done a u-turn, regarding their willingness to accommodate other diets. The food offered to us was delightful. Such a welcome change and turn around.
However, having spoken with a friend who is staying there currently, they appear to have reversed to type.
Such a pity. The location is very central, however when you pay for full board, you do expect, to get at the very least, a reasonable standard of food and a willingness to accommodate specific diets.

This was the first hotel stop on our 11 day tour. Room was very nice, enough room for two and beds comfortable. Had to remember to leave the key card in slot to have electricity though!. Much nicer than I expected. Food in hotel very good; ample breakfast and set dinner was fine. Convenient to the shrine of Fatima - walking distance. The service was nice and the only small issue is that the elevators only hold about four people; with luggage about three.

Love this place. Its clean; the food at the buffet restaurant is so good; they have a wide range and they have a gift shop attached to the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and its worth the money. We had a room especially so that our priests could say mass every morning for us which was so convenient.
