Please note that there are 2 hotels in one - the Lux Fatima and the Lux Fatima Park. These two properties are connected with each other. The Lux Fatima was where we stayed (44 of us) and we were all very happy with it. The rooms were spacious by European standards and clean. They even have a suite with Jacuzzi bathtubs and much larger of course (room 301). The location is very good with shops all around. It is an easy 10 to 15 minute leisurely walk to the Apparition Chapel and the Basilica. One does not notice the distance as there are all sorts of souvenir shops along the way.
The food is good and the staff friendly. Upon check - in, they require to have all passports as they need to fill up police forms. If you are uneasy about leaving your passport with them, bring a photocopy.
For groups, this is very convenient as there is only one level for baggage and the coaches can park one the street side to offload baggage.

I was pleasantly surprised by the standard/price relation. The hotel in my opinion is very close to 5* rating but prices are in 3* range. The room was clean and comfortable, also free parking and a no-nonsense receptionist. Free underground parking for the car and decent breakfast was also included in the price. I can fully recommend it to any tourists and pilgrims visiting Fatima.

Very nice hotel and even better price! Hotel staff was very courteous. The room was extremely nice. Price included breakfast and garage parking (a must in Fatima). Breakfast included a nice buffet in the restaurant. Booked on booking.com for 57 Euro.
Highly recommend!

Truly, this is a beautiful hotel, and when you take in the price it becomes unbeatable.

Friendly staff that speak a multitude of languages, and in an excellent location to the church, this hotel has been newly renovated and has large rooms.

The only issue we had was with noise from other guests. There is very little buffering from slamming doors and voices in the hall. On one hand, this is Fatima so it isn't like there are heavy partiers coming in all night long, but the sound of the
doors slamming shut was quite jarring, especially on the early morning hours.

Hotel management, you may want to invest in door padding that softens the slamming sound of metal on metal, allowing for softer, quieter door closing which would benefit all customers regardless of the of the time of day or night.

We stayed here for 1 night at Easter and found the location to be great. The hotel was bright, modern, clean and good quality. Nice reception with friendly, helpful staff. Beds were comfy and bedding was fresh and crisp. Bathroom was modern and smart. Breakfast was 'OK' with bacon and eggs and breads, jams, pastries, cereals and fruit - nothing outstanding though, just standard offering. Waiting staff were slow at replacing clean plates though which is a very annoying thing to me. Overall, it was a good stay and we would definitely return here when visiting the shrine again.

Room Tip: Waterbed available in selected rooms
