Bathrooms need a lot of work. Wifi in common spaces works on occasion and if the personel after 15 requests finally reboots the router. The swimming is put at times as if it is in a windtunnel.

Stayed at the Londres hotel last year and found it ok, friendly staff nice pool area at a great price. The hotel has got an excellent location near both the casino, beach and trainstation (to Lisboa and Cascais) giving us a lot of options and possibilties to travel around.

We stayed at the hotel for 11nights.
Stayed at room 315, with view over the playground.
10min walk to the beach/train.
20min walk to Cascais.
30min train to Lisboa.

Positive:
- Clean room.
- Kindly staff.
- Good service.
- Breakfast was ok.
- Great italien restaurant next door, Di casa.
- Free Wi-Fi in the bar/swimming pool area.

Negative:
- Hard beds.
- Location was ok, but i would prefer too stay in Cascais next time. In Estoril there was only the Casino and a couple of restaurants.
- Swimming pool area were to small and to few sunbeds.
- Noise from other rooms.
- No Refrigrator in room.

I have had to stay here for three nights. I specifically asked for a quiet room, and was confidently told that I was on the third floor, suggesting a calm stay. I am writing this on my third night here. The first two nights have been awful. Cars running up and down the road all night, a random barking dog, and the sound of furniture moving at late hours, as well as paper thin walls. I have hardly slept at all. The room that masquerades as a bathroom looks like a mistake. The shower area was clearly an afterthought. I had breakfast on the first morning I was here. I have not bothered since for health reasons. I have asked to be moved away from roadside but have been told that this place is full (which is amazing) and it is not possible. When I complained, they just smiled and said....OK. For Portugal, this is an expensive hotel at £100 a night. There is a big event going on in Estoril/Cascais at present, and I am in no doubt that this hotel is taking full advantage. There is a bar here and I asked for a glass of red wine which turned out to be vinegar. The bar person was not bothered and offered no alternative. The worst place I have ever stayed was a Days Inn in Las Vegas, which was predominantly damp and relentlessly threatening. This hotel is not as bad as that place, but not far off. I stayed in room 325. Avoid that room, and avoid this terrible excuse for a hotel.

Room Tip: Avoid room 325 or any room on the road side. Actually avoid this 'hotel'.

Went for a six day break and enjoyed the experience. This is a cross between a tourist hotel and something aimed at business but never seems to know exactly what it is.The beds (two singles pushed together) were very hard but welcoming none the less after a hard days walking .Enjoyed the pool and area and never saw more than six in it at any one time.Breakfast very basic and well worth missing.Staff very helpful and knowledgeable and did not seem put out when we declined room 201 with its views of a flat roof and air con units . Train station 10 mins downhill for trains to Cascais ( 3 mins ) and Lisbon ( 35 mins ).Small shop in hotel opens at 9am and has that days British papers and the usual souveniers and post cards. We found the hotel very peacful and relaxing and never saw any behaviour that would even raise and eyebrow.
