We stayed in Clube Do Lago for a week. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are spacious and spotless clean. The pool was lovely also.

We had a one bed apartment. Beds were comfortable. Balcony was spacious.

It's close to beach and a short stroll to Cascais. If you didn't want to walk taxi's were plentiful and less than €5.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for 6 nights the beginning of June, the staff were so helpful and obliging. The hotel and room were very clean, bed was comfortable. The staff upgraded us from a studio to a one-bedroomed apartment, just because they had one available. The pool was good, although the pool bar wasn't open during our stay. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk uphill from the train station and beach. The walk along the promenade to Caiscais was lovely. Train to Lisbon and buses to Sintra were easy. There is a Spar supermarket just around the corner from the hotel, which was reasonably priced and well stocked. Will definitely stay here when I return to Estoril and would not hesitate to highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Room Tip: Pool view rooms have the most sun on their balconies

The hotel is located in a residential area and Estoril itself is quite limited in terms of restaurants. The walk along the promenade into Cascais is lovely though and there are loads of restaurants there. The hotel itself is nice. Our apartment was huge, on two levels with spacious living area. We were upgraded from a one bed to a two bed apartment without even having to ask as they had a 2 bed available. That was an unexpected bonus. The paintwork and furniture in the apartment could do with a refresh but its spotlessly clean and cleaners come in daily. The staff are so efficient and couldn't do enough for you. Special mention to Ana in the bar. She is such good fun and really takes the time to chat to guests and service is always delivered with a big smile. The pool area is nice however the pool bar was not open during our visit and it was not possible to get lunch in the indoor bar either. I think that June is sufficiently busy to have food and drinks available from early afternoon. I would imagine that at full capacity the pool area could get quite busy in high season.

Room Tip: rooms facing pool are probably quieter but the area is residential so the road noise did not bother us unduly.

We stayed at Clube do lago for 4 nights. It is in an ideal location with the train station (Monte Estoril) 10 minutes walk, and Cascais is 15-20 minutes walk. We had an apartment (108) on the ground floor not far from reception. Our initial fears about noise were unfounded and we found it peaceful although the sound of cars on the cobbled street outside takes a bit of getting used to. The studio apartment had all kitchen amenities (cooker, fridge, microwave, hob) and had plenty of room. We also had dining table and chairs and a large balcony with table and chairs. The room was serviced every day and we found everything clean. The hotel service was excellent and we found reception friendly. The lady in the bar was very friendly although we were the only couple in there when we visited for several evenings. The pool looked a reasonable size and was clean (although we didn't use it) with plenty of sunbeds. The outside bar area also went down to the pool area. There is also an indoor pool and a gym. A coffee shop on the same site, but just outside the main reception, served excellent coffee and pastries at very good value. We breakfasted there every morning!
We used the train (2.20 euros p.p.) to get to/from Lisbon (about 45 mins journey) and also used the bus from Cascais bus depot below the shopping arcade to go to Sintra (about 50 mins). Cascais has plenty of fish restaurants at reasonable prices although there are several good restaurants within 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. We didn't eat at the hotel. All in all, I'd recommend Clube do Lago as a good value hotel situated in an excellent location (if you're prepared to walk a little).

Room Tip: ground floor apartments are OK and are quiet

Stayed for 4 nights with friends and had a lovely stay. Apartment (104) was spacious, clean and adequate but could hear loos flushing and shower water first thing in the morning. Breakfast at the hotel not great but several cafes very local to the property serve a good continental breakfast. We loved the location which is in a mainly residential area but just a few minutes walk from cafes and restaurants and a slow 10 minute stroll to the beach and promenade which goes to Cascais. Train station is next to the promenade and trains run from there to Lisbon every 20 mins throughout the day and every 30mins in the late evening. Journey time is just over half an hour and costs less than 3 euros each way. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Request a sunny balcony or terrace if you like to sit out in the sun as ours was in the shade apart from early morning (apartment 104)
