We have just returned from a week at this lovely hotel having last been here 2 years ago. If you want a excellent service, a charming environment and a great location for this area (Lisbon 25 mins by train, Sintra 20 minutes by bus, Cascais 3 minutes by train) you couldn't do better. We booked a superior room in the new block this time & the size of the room & balcony was well worth it. Breakfasts are superb, fruit ,eggs, bacon, cheese, smoked salmon & a wide variety of breads & pastries.
We recommend the beautiful views from the swimming pool, walks through the nearby park, the promenade and local restaurants Pintos, the Top Hat and Giovannis. The café on the way down to the beach is always busy, but be careful, the waiters upsell frantically and I got caught with a 30E lobster salad!
Our best advice is book direct with the hotel to getthe best rates. We will definitely return.More
