We just stop by at Batalha and spent one day there.

Hotel Mestre Afonso Domingues is at the best location, too close to everywhere.

Samuel the receptionist was too kind to tell us the story of the place, the monestry, the castle even he told us the commercial items of the region. Thanks again for that friendly chat.

The room is clean & large the only negative thing is i could not manage to stop the AC.

The TV in the room was quite small but who needs a TV when you have this kind of view.

I love it, hope i can come to the same area and stay in the same hotel together with my family.

Room Tip: If you need balcony you need to mention it as there is no balcony in every room.

Easy and convenient stop off the highway. Just steps away from tourist attraction. Reasonable restaurant attached Weird art that's somewhat S&M lines corridors and rooms. Could they think it's artistic ? A reflection of medieval heritage?
Puzzling.

It was fantastic staying with the night view of Batalha Monastery. Monastery-view is expensive for my budget, but I was happy to stay here. Room was little bit small and simple. I'm willing to visit again this hotel in the future even it's tough to get here without a car. How lovely place!

The hotel has a fantastic location right in the center and is completely refurbished.
The rooms are nice and clean.
The staff was helpful - about recommending resturants and activities.
If you like walk tours try PR2 - Buraco Roto, in the local mountains - it is an experience.
And the price is certainly reasonableis
