We were here for lunch. The food was very good. All the other plates that came by looked really nice as well. Excellent wine and great service. What else do you need on a sunny terras in Lagos ? We will surely return here.

Some of the dishes were excellent as was the wine. Oddly though the chicken was tough and the octopus dish predominantly oily. All in all though a lovely visit. Would have liked to be sitting outside as inside was busy but very quiet and formal feeling. Our waiter was exceptional- very knowledgeable and attentive. 4 stars and I'd recommend it.

Not the traditional rustic Portuguese food but Portuguese with a twist and presented beautifully. More expensive than some of the restaurants but very good value for money! I recommend the goats cheese starter, it's delicious! Staff were friendly and polite, the restaurant itself is very modern and comfortable.

We came here after having seen it during the day walking through town and then it appearing on Trip Advisor as highly rated.

We booked the same day to going on a Saturday at 7.30pm for 4 people through The Fork.

Upon arrival my sister and I ordered some white and got a bottle. We told the waiter we liked Sauvignon blanc but nothing too dry and he recommended a wine which we ended up having two bottles of it was that easy to drink. Simply gorgeous! From the Algarve too!

Had the Mussels in cream, bacon etc to start and the goats cheese because I'm a greedy pig and couldn't decide between the two. Both excellent! Would highly recommend the goats cheese!! Banging! I tasted the fried squid and half a scallop and they were also good.

My Seared Tuna was outstanding! Cooked perfect, seasoned and tasted wonderful. Really great flavours to this dish!

My dessert: Caramel with coconut ice cream is definitely one to share. To die for but almost too naughty and rich. As I was already very full from helping my parents finish their prawn curry and my sister's prawn risotto I was getting very full. A great dessert! Highly Recommend.

Our waiter Pedro (it was either Pedro or Hedro) was absolutely amazing!!! Superb service and was the Absolute STAR of the meal. Great banter, witty humour, great recommendations, very attentive and gave us just the right level of attention without being intrusive. I was especially impressed how he was able to make us feel special and spend enough time talking with us whilst rushing round to serve other tables and keep everyone happy. The restaurant seemed like it was at full capacity too! Deserves a medal.

At the end we were all asked if we wanted any digestifs and we declined but my dad took them up on the offer and they gave him a free glass of Graham's 20 year Port! He enjoyed it thoroughly and said it was incredible. The waiter also put an additional glass of red wine on the house.

Coffee on point. Very strong!

Decor is perfect, intriguing wine cellar and great toilet artwork (check back of Gents toilet door). Love the embroidery on the serviettes and the wine glasses are real showstoppers. The music selection was perfect, lots of jazz/acoustic versions of classics and chart tracks. Atmosphere was lively with plenty of happy faces, laughing and a general sense of great moods all round... this was definitely helped by the staff working here who all made it a special meal.

Great value for money also. Nothing was overpriced and was fair pricing. Highly highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Decor 10/10
Atmosphere 10/10
Service 10/10
Food 9/10

OVERALL 10/10
