Spent 3 nights here in July - everything was fantastic! Pedro was an friendly and helpful host and the room great. Breakfast is a 'help yourself' type which worked perfectly for us and we used the roof top area for evening drinks. Would definitely go back.

I visited Faro for three nights with a friend in a twin room with a bathroom. We had an absolutely lovely time. The hostel is more like a guesthouse: quiet, guests encouraged to treat it as their home, shared kitchen which is fully stocked for breakfast. The room and bathroom were immaculate, and the staff very friendly. An excellent and varied breakfast was provided every morning. The hostel is right next door to a convenience store, and just a short walk away from a variety of shops and the marina. The best part of the whole stay was the hospitality of Pedro: he made sure to "induct" us into the stay by suggesting places to visit, telling us the nearest transport routes (including emailing a bus schedule), making sure that we had water bottles before our journey home in the sweltering heat, allowing us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, and just generally being available to answer our every query. We had a great time and would definitely come back again!

The place is really nice. The owner is really helpful and nice - he gave us some useful information on the area plus some maps. The buiding is renovated and the rooms too. Everywhere is really clean and cosy. Living room, dinning room ,kitchen and terrace areas for common use are also nicely equiped. Breakfast very good - bread, cheese, ham, jogurts, cornflakes, jams, milk, coffee, varieties of teas, water, juices, rolls, etc... there is also a fridge in the kitchen for guests to use so it was useful when we bought some fresh vegatables, fruit or drinks and wanted to have them cold. Wi-fi is working well in whole building.
Lack of air-conditioning as the days & nights were really hot also inside the room.

I spent 2 nights (22/24-08-16) in the Hostel with my friends and I had an amazing welcome.
The place (rooms, kitchen and bathrooms) is clean and modern, nothing you could need misses.
The owner, the staff and Cecito (the dog of the hostel) are fantastic.
The amazing terrace on the rooftop and the breakfast are the plus.
I suggest this place!

We stayed in 3 double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. A friendly reception and clean bedrooms. However Room 1 was windowless and in temperatures exceeding 30 degrees in the bedroom (despite a fan), almost impossible to sleep in (this should be mentioned to guests when booking). Other bedroom (Room 4) had no fan and only after some badgering did reception provide one (a better night was had). Our room (Room 5) had a broken shower head and was equally stiflingly hot, despite a fan.
I'm not sure what breakfast other reviewers experienced but we found the supermarket 100 metres away a more rewarding experience. The saving grace was the hostel dog!
