Rooms are clean, fresh linen. Staff are friendly. Bathroom is old but functional. Breakfast & wifi good. MY FAVE IS THE TERRACE sun all day. Shuttle to & from bus station. Only downside lots of mozzie bites due to needing the window open. No big deal as I come from a tropical place with mozzies.

The hostel is really easy to find (just follow the coast), and a short walk from the train and bus station, and city centre.

I stayed in a dormitory, which was comfortable, although the bathroom was a long the passage. I was woken up several times with people entering and leaving the dormitory late at night and in the early morning.

The breakfast was okay - but I particularly liked the roof top terrace overlooking the park. Would stay again.

I booked here, after reading reviews online, thinking it would be average, good enough for one night. It was so much worse! there is no A/C and the rooms are hot & stuffy, which attract bugs & mosquitos. I woke up with over 30 bites at 7am (only 6hrs sleep) and its horrible.
Take note, there are no lockers in the rooms, which can be locked. The bathrooms were not cleaned, the showers are extremely old and show their age through the scum/discoloured walls.
Its right beside the park, therefor you will hear the peacock going peee-carr all night long.
