No running water - so no toilet / shower / sink. Not the hotel’s fault but they didn’t provide bottles of water, told guests (who were going into their second night of this) that they were not entitled to anything because ‘everything is in the room as normal’. I would say running water is the most basic requirement. The hotel have not responded to my complaint email at all since.

Breakfast was stale, fruit gone off and they didn’t replenish anything (including the water!)

No safe in rooms

Great location but even so, not great value for money even if there had been running water.

We stayed for 2 nights recently before moving onto enjoy a week in Tavira. The hotel was a good choice and within minutes of pretty much anywhere you would need to go in central Faro. The double room was simple, clean with a decent bathroom. The staff were great and very helpful. We phoned Reception as we had a problem with the AC and it was rectified within a couple of minutes. We decided not to have breakfast at the hotel as we preferred to eat in the local pastelarias but the breakfast buffet looked very nice all the same.

Room tip: Maybe a high room - we were on floor 1 which just looked onto another building though a barbed security fence.

Great hotel, friendly manager that spoke good English. Accomodation was good, room clean and bed comfy. Location is perfect both central but quiet. About 10 min walk from bus stations a bit longer to train station. Bus root to town from airport straight forward and only 2.3 Euroes.

Faro is a beuitiful town, any stag/hen parties went to the coast resorts so easy to enjoy the town. Old town is great, full of charecter huge storks, cobled streets and lots of resteraunts. We had one night in Faro, if you stayed more than two nights you may want to plan a few day trips. Worth noting that most places would not accept foreign credit cards so needed to use cash, there are ATMs so not a problem.

From the check in to check out everything was great.
The room and bathroom were spacious...cleaned every day and clean towels. ..cups and a bottle of water every day too.
We had a room on the 5th floor with a very spacious balcony....only problem I felt with this was the lack of a small table to put coffee on whilst sitting in the sun.
All members of staff were efficient..friendly....polite and nothing was a problem when asking them for anything......the continental breakfast was plentiful and available from 6.30am until noon which was is great.
Hotel is situated in a very convenient position for restaurants. .bars.....shopping....bus terminal and train station.
Very good value for money and would definitely visit and stay again.
Thanks for making our stay a pleasant and memorable one..

This hotel is very central to the old town and marina. Close to all restaurants and bars. It is a typical no frills, basic hotel. The room was adequate and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom shower guard was falling away from the wall. We reported this, but no one was available to fix whist we were there. This could have been dangerous, so hence only an average review.
