We had a wonderful, relaxing break at Eden resort, and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for somewhere close to the town and beach, but far enough away for some peace and quiet in the evenings! Staff are all lovely and the food was excellent. Very good for small kids - lovely playground and lots of pools.

Whilst the UK was enduring the 'Beast from the East' we had a very wet and windy 2 weeks in Eden. What could have been a very stressful holiday was instead a very relaxing fortnight thanks to the comfortable accommodation and excellent TV and WiFi.
Any problems- unable to use the in room safe/a small problem with ants-was quickly and efficiently dealt with by the ever helpful reception and housekeeping staff.
Although we had the opportunity to upgrade to all inclusive for an extra E 22 per night, we decided to make use of the self catering facilities instead. These were more than adequate if you wished to simply heat up a pizza or boil an egg for your morning toast.
Location wise I more than managed my 10000 steps walking from the resort to the old town but was more than grateful for the opportunity to use the free shuttle bus. Climbing that hill was challenging.
Our 2nd visit and it won't be our last.

We were pleasantly surprised how large the villa was with an extra room downstairs to accommodate our third child. The food was lovely and the staff were really friendly. My only suggestion would be to run the bus to other places, perhaps the bus station or the New Town. It was a lovely holiday and we would definitely recommend.

Visiting this location off peak, meant a lot of things were unavailable to us.

At first, we were impressed with the resort, however when we thought about what we had paid to visit out of season, (not including the monsoon weather we had) it wasn’t much to write home about.

I will do a list of pros and cons to make it easier...

Pros
- Armando! He drove a golf buggy around the resort and gave you lifts if needed. Took your suitcases etc... he sorted us out with a local takeaway and sourced us 2 English adaptors for our electrical items.
- 3 swimming pools
- Regular shuttle bus (free) to the old town
- staff friendly and accommodating (unless you wanted to return your spa towel that they give you outside of spa hours!)

Cons
- Huge complex and lots of walking to get to pools/bars/on-site shop
- Indoor pool was open but was cold due to no hot water
- no hot water for 3 days of our stay
- ants in the apartment
- random water appearing on the floor in the apartment (no idea where from)
- if not all inclusive food was very expensive and not very nice
- main swimming pool closed for maintenance
- onsite shop very expensive and not well stocked
- no entertainment at all despite being given an entertainments schedule
- Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with disabilities or who struggles to walk - lots of stairs and steep hills.

Stayed: February 2018, travelled as a couple

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for taking some time to share your opinion with other guests.

We appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us identify the areas we can improve the guest experience.

I was disappointed to learn of the shortcomings you experienced and presented and cons, for some we are unable to change since Eden Resort has avast area and this may be also seen as an advantage, as we have very good conditions for outdoor living.

Regarding the maintenance issues that you have experienced, except the main pool maintenance (due to alternative 2 other more outdoor pools), we are very sorry and inform that these issues are now sorted.

We hope that you can give us another opportunity to impress you in a near future and will remain at your disposal at all times.

With kind Regards
Eden Resort team
