Unattentive and unaccommodating staff. Rooms were ok. Takes at least 15mins to get a taxi to the resort and another 20mins to the Papeete town. The concierge desk is connected with the Pearl shop and seems that the concierge is more of a sales person in the Pearl shop and the gift store.

We had a two bedroom apartment at the end of the complex - complete with outdoor kitchen. Our first impression was that the hotel was a little tired and in need of updating but we liked the space in our room and the view from the 4th floor - we'd only just arrived and we got to whale watch and the sun set. The staff were not overly friendly but baggage staff were particularly good as was the service in and out of Papeete. Seemed odd to have to wait two minutes to order happy hour drinks. Pool was ok- towel / card service seems unusual for a 4 star hotel. Restaurant service was slow and food average.

We stayed for two nights after arriving from our time in New Zealand. Even though it was 1:30 in the morning reception star were friendly and our bags arrived in our room shortly after we did. We had a large suite, with balcony overlooking the Bay. Someone said to ask for room without trees blocking view of ocean but I have the most wonderful photo on my tablet now of a palm tree just outside our room. Initially I thought that this was the most expensive place for food but then realized that I was using the wrong conversion system - prices were not out of line at all. the atmosphere was great; most staff were friendly; some language issues - tried our best French but perhaps didn't always translate well. Bar staff were friendly. Be wary of bare feet on that black sand - very hot! On the Saturday we were there a kayak race with 22 kayaks set out from the beach. Lots of families to cheer them on which was great. Unfortunately we had to leave before the race finished. A great way to start our Tahitian holiday.

A reasonable resort for a few days. Tahitian show was incredible. Pool area nice. Rooms average. Black beach an experience but not great. A lovely bay. Buffet wasn’t great. Otherwise a la carte menu very nice. Must try the traditional raw fish in coconut milk. Staff very welcoming.

As many 'local' in Tahiti, we use to spend weekends in hôtel for celebrations and we came lately for my daughter's birthday, last time I came at this place was part of Radisson's franchise and to be honest change is great in many fields. Rooms been partialy updated and enhanced, view is as usual fantastic on Matavai bay and sleep was quiet as you wish. Hotel crew were realy professional and realy friendly, we spent a good stay here and will come back soon. Will definitely recommend.
