We were in Ypres for just one day and after checking for restaurants near our hotel decided to try Yathida due to the good reviews. After The Last Post we headed to the restaurant on a Saturday evening around 8.30. When we arrived there were no other customers and we had the choice of tables. A few minutes later a group of 14 students arrived and the place was full. We ordered 6 pork wontons to start and a green chicken curry with rice and a pad Thai to follow along with a couple of glasses of red wine. The wine and Wantons arrived quickly and were very good. The green curry and pad Thai were also excellent. Service was friendly and all the food freshly cooked. The restaurant is great value for money and the only thing letting it down is the fact that because it is a small restaurant with an open kitchen at the back the lack of adequate extraction means you leave smelling of fried food.
However I would definitely recommend a visit.
