Trying to get away from the overpriced trap of the main square we headed into the side streets. On a narrow deserted street a glow appeared, and approaching the restaurant, the warm atmosphere spilled into the street. Beautifully decorated and lit, we had delicious Tapas, and a few of the fantastic fresh specials, all served by charming staff and owner. Great red wine too. We were the only non-Belgian diners. We had found a lovely piece of the real Ypres.
