We had the pleasure of visiting Arthie's for my birthday lunch, while visiting Bruges last weekend. The decor is really quirky and colourful, and the service and food was excellent. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we chose to eat in the courtyard at the back of the property, which was very peaceful, with just the occasional sound of the church bells ringing out a tune. We had caipirinha cockrails which were delicious, shrimp croquettes with side salad, roast chicken with three sauces, and chicken vol-au-vent, all of which were excellent. The waiter was really friendly, and the service prompt. We look forward to revisiting, next time we're in Bruges.
