Really enjoyed our visit. We learnt a lot about chocolate and cocoa beans; free tasting in some of the rooms, 20 mins demonstration. We spent about an hour here. Good value for money.

A very affordable experience museum experience in Brugge 8 euro entry. Around the exhibitions there are samples of different chocolates which are delicious! Going round the presentations there is an overhaul of information about the history of chocolate which is great if you have an immense love for chocolate but can be quite dull if you are not. There is an interesting short film about the process of cocoa beans which is quite good but at the end the demonstration of the making of chocolate was marvelous.

Interesting to hear about how one of my favourite things is produced. Each floor had containers with different chocolate drops to try & the chocolate demonstration was interesting, though Lawrence took his job very seriously & could have given the crowd a smile. Not suitable for those with mobility problems as there are lots of stairs.

Lots of information, samples of different chocolates and a demonstration of making pralines at the end of the tour.

Two families travelling together with five children ranging from 7 to 11. This attraction could have been so much more engaging for everyone without too much effort. That said, the kids made the most of the treasure hunt and enjoyed the film on where chocolate comes from. All a bit old fashioned but arguably part of the charm. Provided us with 45 mins entertainment.
